2025 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing concluded successfully at Chengdu University of Information Technology from 26 to 28 September. The event attracted numerous experts and scholars, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere and establishing a broad and far-reaching international collaboration platform. This event not only provided a crucial opportunity for cross-regional, cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary research collaboration, but also laid a solid foundation for future project development and talent exchange. AINLP 2025 was jointly organised by Chengdu University of Information Technology and the Chengdu Information Economy Society, hosted by the School of Artificial Intelligence at Chengdu University of Information Technology, and supported by comprehensive conference services provided by AiScholar.

The conference commenced with welcoming addresses delivered by Mr Yang Zhipeng, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office at Chengdu University of Information Technology, and Professor Zhang Shibin, Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Chengdu University of Information Technology. Director Yang and Professor Zhang extended their warmest greetings and heartfelt welcome to all attending experts and scholars. They further emphasised the significant value of high-calibre international conferences, highlighting them not only as premier platforms for researchers and specialists to exchange ideas and share achievements, but also as powerful catalysts for advancing academic development and disciplinary progress. Simultaneously, both extended a sincere invitation to the experts and scholars to engage with Chengdu University of Information Technology. They expressed anticipation for deeper exchanges and collaboration in the future across multiple dimensions, including talent development, project initiatives, scientific research, and platform building. Together, they aim to contribute wisdom and strength to the construction and advancement of AI and related disciplines at the university, jointly striding towards a more splendid future.



This conference is honoured to have invited four distinguished scholars from across the nation to deliver keynote presentations. These include Professor Li Xiaoli from the Singapore University of Technology and Design, an IEEE Fellow and AAIA Fellow; Professor Gou Jianping from Southwest University; Professor Cai Linqin from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications; and Associate Professor Huang Yuanyuan from Chengdu University of Information Technology. The four experts respectively addressed cutting-edge topics including knowledge distillation for large models, preference optimisation in large language models, human-like multimodal interaction, and advancing short-term rainfall forecasting through generative models. Their presentations fully demonstrated the academic appeal and extensive industry influence of artificial intelligence and natural language processing.
